KSI is honored to support the National Guard Bureau’s mission with the latest release of our Joint Information Exchange Environment (JIEE) software. Initially implemented by the Guard in 2005, this powerful situational awareness/common operational picture (SA/COP) solution provides NGB personnel in all U.S. States and territories with effective and near real-time information sharing during normal operations and emergency/crisis response.
JIEE 5.0, which now includes near real-time email notification and an improved framework, enables dynamic sharing of approved information with strategic mission partners through web mapping services, in accordance with the Joint CONUS Communications Support Environment (JCCSE) Initiative, and the DoD Information Sharing Implementation Plan.
The Guard relies on JIEE to support its operations 24/7/365. Most recently utilized for tactical and operations management during the 2009 Presidential Inauguration, JIEE also supported NGB during hurricanes Ike and Gustav. During these events, JIEE users entered more than 1,000 Requests for Information/Assistance and coordinated more than 200 missions.
KSI’s on-site team continues to refine and enhance JIEE and provide training and technical support to more than 12,000 users nationwide.
